I joined OneMedical Group in 2014 as a practising GP. In 2016 I took on the role of Lead GP for Primary Care Services and became Chief Medical Officer in 2017. In the summer of 2019 I became Deputy CEO and in April 2020 I began my role as the Chief Executive Officer.
I am passionate about supporting everyone with their health and wellbeing, creating a safe and supportive environment for all and championing good health and wellbeing for both patients and staff. I work to ensure all our staff have joyful, fulfilling careers and are supported to deliver the highest quality care to all.
I qualified from Leeds School of Medicine (University of Leeds) in 2007, and I have made Yorkshire my adopted home ever since. I undertook my post graduate training in general practice across the county. In 2017, I had the amazing opportunity to participate in the Health Foundation’s Generation Q fellowship, a quality improvement and leadership programme designed for senior leaders from healthcare, policy and the charity sector. I studied at Ashridge Executive Education, part of Hult International Business School.
I believe in compassionate inclusive leadership and I feel privileged to work with a group of talented, generous, and fun people.
I am always looking to learn and to listen to others.
I am a father of two amazing girls which keeps me busy and gives me a reason to smile every day. I am a movie geek, eclectic music fan, enjoy portrait painting, and love to cook.
