I joined One Medical Group in March 2020 as the Director of NHS Services. I feel I have quite an eclectic employment history, having worked in the criminal justice system (both in prisons and community-based programmes), the voluntary sector and the NHS.

I feel having experienced such a mixture of roles, settings and sectors is a good thing as I can bring the best bits of all jobs to this one!

Due to my Public Health background I also recognise the important of understanding the impact the wider determinants of health on an individual’s health and wellbeing, and this is something in particular I want to focus on in this role, as by supporting individuals to stay as holistically healthy as possible, this leads to better health and wellbeing outcomes for us all.

In my spare time I enjoy socialising with my friends and family. I also love swimming, walking and horse-riding. I am lucky enough to have family who live across the globe, so this means holidays to destinations slightly more unusual, such as Sweden and South America.
